i'm in ny. i'd prefer to not pay too much. i can ship you only the drive, no problem. i've even got a benq fw that you can use if you want.
i hacked my older benq-based system a while back, but i wanted hdmi so i bought a jasper arcade box. i don't want to dick around with soldering or anything, and if someone's already got the kit or the know-how i'd be willing to pay a reasonable amount of money for the short amount of time that it'd take to hack it.
i'll mail either the system or the box, up to you. as long as you can confirm the hack without the system, i'll send only the drive.
i'd like it flashed to the newest fw out there.
looking forward to hearing from someone.

canada takes a bloody long time for shipping. gimme a price, and since it's canada you can split the shipping.
i'm still listening to offers. i hate shipping to canada, everything gets bloody lost or taxed.

well.. depends on your time frame, I travel for work and I am in Manhatten frequently, curretnly in Ohio. I reside north of boston but if our paths cross i will gladly do it for you or show you how to do it. I don't typically take my rig (pc, burner, and xbox spare parts) with me while working but it wouldn't be the first time if our paths cross.

I wont' brick the drive. Never have bricked a liteon. Damaged a trace once but fixed that too. They are really good drives. If I did brick it then what can I tell ya. I'll make it up to ya. Eye for an eye. But you couldn't really blame me if it bricked as you dont' seem confident or capable to do the drive yourself. You are the one asking for help. Regardless, I've never bricked a liteon. Flashing is not as much as a "mystery" as some guys make it out to be.

You'll get arguments from both sides on this one. Good thing you own all retail games and only play the backups so prevent scratching. Come on! I doubt one guy on this site just uses it as a backup. Meaning, illegal.
