Hi all can someone help me get my flashed strvw 4 box to reconise the usb pen drive, formated to fat32 box flashed as soon as that happened it wont reconise the usb , all channels work great but no usb"please reinsert usb" thats the message i get ive tried on - off etc any help please v1.07

Did you format it via the box or pc? And if I read what you are saying its fine but it just wont recognise the USB stick any more?

Hi Scouser

I did not format at all first off and the usb was reconised but as soon as the flash happened then i lost the usb connection, ive since formated with the pc to fat 32 but still nothing! is it broke!

What type and size is it? Have you tried another USB stick or drive?

its a 1gb stick and ive tried a sony 8gb one too still the same it just keeps saying" reinsert usb"

Was the Sony one formatted to Fat32?

Double check. Also when you are connecting/disconnecting the USB stick/disk from the box that it is powered down from the switch at the back.

Scouse, if i re format to fat 32 the original usb drive so its clean, the put v1.07 on it power down the box at the back ,put usb in then power up box do you think this may work? because as soon as i got the box out of the package the usb was reconised straight away and thats when i loaded up the f/w thats the original stick 1gb

No harm I suppose but you have said 1.07 is on it and all your channels are fine, so cannot see it as a firmware issue. But try as you said, it will do no damage.
