Hello guys

Not to long ago my hitachi 47 died and i bought a BenQ VAD6038 for replacement. Now i was wondering how i should do this.I do have the back up of my hitachi. So here's my 2 questions

1. should i just spoof the data from my original hitachi fw to the new ixtreme 1.51 benq fw?

2. Or do i have to flash the benq with ixtreme 1.51 hitachi fw so its basicly a hitachi?

Or am a completely wrong with both methods?

Thanks for your time greetz bob!

it would be the first method spoof hitachi key to benq ixtreme firmware. if you put hitachi firmware on a benq it will not work at all.

Load your Hitachi firmware into the Source.
Load ix1.51 for BenQ into Target.
Click Spoof.
Save CFW.
Go to MTKFlash tab.
Return status 0x73 (which ever method works for you).
Write the Firmware.
Send Outro/ATA Reset.

because the system is locked to that specific drive so you have to trick the system to think it is the same drive.
