JF wont detect my drive

I have a Hitachi 78 drive that my computer refuses to reconginze. I have done over 300 mods and just did another Hitachi 78 earlier. I use the connectivity kit and Jungle Flasher for most of all my mods. I have tried using firmware toolbox and the slax disk as well. I have 2 pci cards one specifically for Hitachi?s and the other a via card plus an onboard sata. I have basically exhausted all my knowledge of modding to get this thing to read so I come to you guys for any help you can offer. Thanks

do you mean it doesnt see it in the vendor section of JF or doesnt see it in the pull down section that shows all drives hooked up to the pc? mine wasnt seen in the vendor section but was seen in the pull down area so i just went ahead and it worked fine.

i had a similar problem with my 79fl...once i got it into mode b i restarted my comp and then JF and it wa reconized

Tryed the mode b restart JF nor my Pc can pick it up. =/
