does anyone no the coders for the starview boxs? these boys would need to do something fast or people are goin to lose intrest in the starview system and find an alternative ie kyrptview,its to there own benifit, we all no that nutl can be beaten as there are a lot of smart people out there who can crack anything these boys come up with

Well the person who coded all the last round of fixes for starviews, eurovoxes, replays has said hes not doing them anymore.
so you have a slim chance.

lads do you honestly think that these people are going to show themselves and reveal who they are
I dont think so as they would be the people that all providers would be looking to track down and prosecute them
and as for giving out names of other forums where you think these people hang around is not a good idea either
as you are aware that all these forums are been monitored by all the cable company's
And do you also think by doing this they are going to fix it any quicker if at all
and the person or persons involved in the last fix for the boxes they have retired and still would not be able to sort these without the source code for all the other boxes which they are not going to just hand over willie nillie

fergusrb i was not asking for his true name, al i want to no is the starview the box super amoungst others had its day? and its time to give in to the corperations like ntul,and addmit defeat? as that is how it is lookin at the moment, as no one seems to no if any fix will be released, as some one should no by now,

these guys are the tops and without them no one would have free cable,yea kryptview is excellent(the tops)but you do better,before you slag any body off,give praise to all the people that keep the likes of you going.and they will in the future(when you need help i bet you will come to afterdawn)sorry for being narky but we owe these guys lots.to all at afterdawn thanks and your tops.

Well i never said you where looking for their real names but what you are doing is drawing attention to them by doing what you are doing and also by CathalDub telling everyone where they hang out all this does is send things backwards as it then will take longer to get anything done
when and i say when there is fixes done you will all know its not a simple patch this time like all the others where so you ned to be patient as all manufacturers work at different speeds
as the coding is different and they dont share this among different box manufacturers as its not open sourced unlike the linux is supposed to be but only certain parts of that is open as well
so i would say chill out and just wait like the rest of us are doing and let the guys get on with what they do best
the less that is said on these forums about fixes etc the better as i have said this is where the cable companys get all the intel from so they dont need to know everything some secrets are a good thing keeps them in the dark as well that way as they surprise is the key to success

Its no big secret, one of the users who made the some of the last fixes is thanked in multiple threads on this forum and other forums. If you type his username into google with starview after it you get about 2000 hits, I never mentioned usernames

Anyway I thought this thread sounded very agro and I could see the people who do the fixes telling the thread starter to F Off when they see it

yes you are quite correct but you dont have to point out where they are to all in sundry if you know well enough but a lot of others dont and dont know where they are and what you have now done is tell everyone and they in turn will be there now making and doing pm to the people involved
the people have said they are retired and no longer doing fixes for boxes so you should respect there wishes and there privacy as well dont you think ??
