I have tried a search but could not loacte any thread that could answer my question, so here it goes.
I got the Wii v3.3E about a month ago, did the softmod, playing my backed up games with no issues - all players/games data saved onto the console. Now a month later I got myself a Wii memory card 32MB with 507 blocks free, my question: How the hell do I copy my saved files from the console to my Wii memory card? I just can't seem to get this right?
Any thoughts or ideas out there?
Am I doing something wrong or is this just not possible?
To copy files from Wii System Memory to SD card go to Data management. Click on Wii TAB at top and choose to copy the files to SD Card.
To copy from SD Card to Wii system memory go to Data management. Click on the SD TAB at the top. Then choose to copy files to Wii system memory.
Some files can not be copied back and forth.
Follow the same steps for channels.
If you want to launch VC/WiiWare games from SD Card then install the VC/WiiWare channel. Go to the channel management and choose to MOVE the channel to SD Card (not copy). If you choose copy then the game will not launch via the SD card.
I managed to get saved data from my console onto a SD card, but I can't seem to get the data onto my wii memory card (positioned at the side of the wii console) Is this possible at all? I presume it has to be, why would they allow for memory cards otherwise?
Hope this make sense, as you can see I've only been a wii owner for 1 month, still wet behind the ears.
