Hi lads hows all?just in from work and noticed my box-t down.Ch**us mmds by the way.tries to update but no joy.iv tried keymaster and it sorted it last time but nothin this time round.Iv heard they'v switched to nagra 3.does this mean my box is now dead?..Thanks lads..

Chorus is not on Nag3, put the latest firmware on, turn on key emu, press ok on set default key, goto sky two and it will update, If it doesnt go into nagravision and check its not on ntl which always happens with those boxes for some mad reason
Can you take nag3 out of the subject or its going to cause caos

Why would a Box T have NT* in the CAS menu???
Giggsy I think you have been on a few times before and as said then and saying it again just update your firmware ;)
They haven't rolled on Ch**us MMDS since December 08.

No Idea but believe me, go into the nagravision menu when they roll and it usually says NT* up at the provider id, its weird but I swear it happens, even if its not up there you can still select it, I assumed it was just something they forgot about when creating the firmware as I assume its modeled on the box.
To flash the box read the tutorials

@ Rod Depends what box you have is it a Box T as that is what this thread is about?

The Box T is a DVB T box and is only designed to work on the Ch**us MMDS network. NT* is not needed in the CAS menu. Maybe you are thinking of The Box.

I have it in our house in limerick which we only go down to every now and then and half the time you go down its not working and you have to go in and change it, I know its not designed for anything but Chorus mmds but I sear its true

Drop into Eamos at the end of my post. You will see a folder for the Box T containing the latest firmware and loader.
Take a look here at Celt's Guide I miss that woman 
Yes its for other boxes but the process is almost exactly the same just substitute the loader and firmware as taken from Eamos.

there's only firmware on the box t from last december...is there any new ones? i tried the 4 sharing where i found it last time.
any chance the codes are being worked on by some lovely decoders?

Hi Scouser my tx just went down, i only flased it last week with the new firmware, will i just reflash it with the same again mate

That is the most up to date firmware and it works. If you have flashed with this firmware just press the default key and go to Sly2 to update.

Paul stick to one post please ;) It will update if flashed correctly with the latest firmware, (which I thought you had done more than a week ago).
If it still hasnt updated pull the power from it for a minute then plug it back in. Put it on Sly 2 to update.

Well scous me again with another issue unfortunately.got everythin ready for the flashin of my box-t.plugged in the usb to serial oonly to realise the serial wont fit my box.The cable is usb a type male/db9 male.I tried connecting usb/serial cable to my monitor to comp cable and ran the firmware,got to downloading but flash keeps failing.HELP!!!!!!..:)

Are you on latest firmware? If so goto "Sky Two"
If not you will have to manually enter keys which cannot be got on this forum

its a good thing if you know how to enter codes manualy(then no need for new software)this helps cos they keep knocking the boxes off(cable companies)its easy for starview,but first you need codes,to find these download bigmaq toolbar or wizardmnods toolbar they contain codes.install one or both toolbars(best of both worlds,one has no new codes the other will)if you want to know how to enter codes manualy for staeview let me know.
