Classic Controler For Emulation?

I am trying to run an emulator disc. When I load it in Gamma, all I get is a green screen and the wii resets. Do I need the GC controller or can I use the classic controller?

That problem doesnt sound like its because of the incorrect controller plugged in etc. It sounds like it could be the the disc thats at fault or even a bad ISO image, i would try burning it again.

I have some emulation discs but they are in the gamecube format and they do require a GC controller as they load up as a gamecube game.

Have you tried with just the wiimote? does anything display when the green screen shows?
