hi

im trying to help a mate set up a box in manchester and im not sure which cable provider to put in for there seeing as i dont live there anymore!! can anyone give me any pointers. plus has anyone in the uk noticed any channels going similarly to here cuz they are saying sky 1 premier and sports have gone thats why checking they're on the right provider id

Manchester is split in to two area, Manchester 1 and Manchester 2, but as far as the SV is concerned provider should be EX C&W, (Both are NTL ex C&W) and no there is no truth in what you hear, the UK has not been affected at all at the minute.

hey thanks they're in Droylesden but if both are ex C&W i spose that doesnt matter too much!! ill tell them to rescan as well see if the channels come back then.

Yep do just that, but it is better to do a Factory Reset and fresh Installation - and don't forget to tell them to turn on the Keycode in the Cas System Menu.
