Yes and No, if you are talking about the System Update that was forced upon users today, then Yes. It has been confirmed safe to use. Users reported that after updating, they will still able to connect to XBOX Live with their modded drive.

No is the fact that it's never 100% safe to be on LIVE with a modded console.

Guessswho is a well known member here and gives valid and very knowledgeable information. Hence the words "Senior Member" under the name. It would be wise to listen to what guessswho has to say.

You picked the wrong people to question about their knowledge...oh and as for us moderators how do you think we get our positions? Experience & Knowledge. Close to 30 years of gaming in my case alone, hell ALL the console sections of aD (well over a million posts and counting) is directly tied to my input, contributions and knowledge in the gaming scene.
