half way working corrupted data?

For the longest time ever I have had CFW 3.800m33-5. I bought a few UMD's and played them off this FW. Now today I decided to upgrade to 5.00m33-6 and popped my Crisis Core Final Fantasy. I go tolLoad the data and notice that the load data has the 4 PSP buttons as a picture instead of the Crisis Core picture. Im like, ok and I load it up and start playing. I go to save shortly after wards and the PSP locks up and self-shuts off. I try again but try saving to a new save data, it was immediately corrupted. I try playing a new game and save and it was immediately corrupted. What is going on here? I have heard about a program that changes the save data .bin file to make it work with the new update. Any one know of this?
And also as a note, if I try to use a new memory card or even an old one that is reformatted I can save the data but I cannot load it. Im starting to get really pissed

try going in the advanced in the recovery menu and format flash1 and reset settings

I am sorry for being a bit rude in my last post. I did not have much sleep yesterday and I was getting mad at every little thing due to lack of sleep. I am sorry

yes, thank you I will try that. Hopefully it will work. Crisis Core is like my favorite game on the PSP :)
It did not work sadly.

Ok so I downgraded back to what I had originally, thinking that I started playing Crisis Core on 3.80m33-5, that it would work again. Well no I was wrong. Same issues here. I can load the data but not save it. what ever
