Ok so for the last 8 hours straight (ya I dont give up easily) I have been trying to get my netplay to work I have 2 phat psp's, both running 5.00m33-6 everything in the recovery menu is exactly the same. I have wiped out everything and installed the same snes and roms on both psp's I have tried about 5 or 6 different snes9x versions resulting in either not syncing and continuing to "reflush" the system or not working period. I have confirmed that every setting is exactly the same in the snes menu. Tried GAME and GAME150 folders, tried using a couple different roms to be sure its not the game. The best I can get is the psp's to recognize each other, then the host psp will display the game and the other can barely hear the sound. It will continue to reflush every 10 seconds or so. For instance one time I was able to visually (watching on 1st player psp) control 2nd player with the blacked out psp however still reflushing and froze soon after. What might I be missing??? Anyone out there succesfully playing netplay on 5.00m33-6. I have tried holding "R" when starting up snes to try and change the pops like I do on my PSX games but it doesnt work. Is there another way to change pops for emus?? I have tried changing my game kernal to 1.5 and still nothing. Sorry for the lengthy post but as I said I have been working on this for 8 hours so I wanted to try and explain everything I have tried up until now

My PSP life since mar 1st 2009 got used psp phat with 3.10-oe>3.40-oe>3.52m33>3.71m33>5.01 OFW no fun>3.71m33-4>4.01m33>5.00m33>5.00m33-6 knew nothing of psp before Mar 1st!!!!

Ok sorry for double posting but I have tried a new method, I went and backed up my ms on my computer hdd (alot of saves I dont wanna lose) completely reformatted both my ms, (1 8gb sony magicgate supported and 1 sandisk 256mb magicgate supported) successfully downgraded both psp phats to 3.71m33-4, reinstalled the exact same snes9xtyl with media engine and just a couple mortal kombat roms. but still same issue constantly reflushing network (and I dont even know what the "still: 2132...3212...213"or whatever seemingly random number is gives) I read somewhere that the wifi in the psp is not made to handle clockspeed over 300mhz but my snes is fixed at 333mhz, I cannot toggle it for some reason, will this burn out my wifi? (assuming I ever get it to work) could this be part of my issue?? Thanks

i've never ran into a problem when i have tried with snes except that it lags quite a bit so its not really worth it anyway at this point with fighting games anyway and when i did try it, it was an earlier version of snes and was back on 3.90 m33 and i used two slims, though i have not tried it with irshell and playstation games yet, so obviously you've done just about all you can do so i can't really help you since you've done anything i would recommend like trying different emulator versions and downgrading, formatting sticks etc...

Thanks shaggyZE your the man. I am thinking too at this point that the only possible issue maybe is that the ms in each psp just cant load at the same speed?? it seems like in general my sandisk ms takes longer to copy any file, extract any update etc. basically seems like the sony ms just works faster and more efficient than the sandisk althougn both are genuine. I have seen many a video on youtube with this running full speed no issues. Wierd anyways thanks again.

i have had trouble playing people when it comes to modded or non-modded psp's due to waiting on the other person's psp to load from umd or the 100 more mhz a modded psp can have but i doubt the speed difference between sticks would be the issue

Ok I wasnt sure if that would or wouldnt affect it but it was about the only other thing I could think of lol. Ok so check this, On your emu pack that I downloaded originally, I can go in and change the clockspeed but the netplay wont even open a connection when I start a game instead it just disables all my buttons from working excpet home where I can reload the game without netplay and it will play like normal. Now I have another snes9xtyl that I can pull its eboot file and overwrite my original and then my netplay will open a connection but as I stated constantly reflush, However when I do this it also says below the clockspeed "fixed" at 333mhz and I cannot change it. Is it true that the wifi is not made to handle 333mhz and can burn it up?

well over clocking anything can burn up the processor but it usually doesn't affect other components like wifi or sound/video what have you but with how long m33 has had the option to over clock if it is even over clocking; its possible sony just didn't take advantage of the full processor and m33 team did and i haven't seen any major posts or forums warning people not to do it and if their ever were hundreds or thousands of psp being fried this way the m33 team would have removed it long ago so i wouldn't worry about it.

Ya that does make alot of sense. Is there anyway to find out if my wifi is messed up? I can surf the net fine and access psn, can establish a "good" connection to my pc via wireless router, etc. But even now I installed the same psx eboot on 2 phats 1000 running the same firmware (5.00m33-6) and running the exact same irshell with the same configurations and I will go into the 2 player adhoc with popsloader ( the only pops I have found that even allows it thus far is 3.40) I will enable one then the other they will find each other and then they basically freeze and shut off when I try and actually connect the 2
