hi maybe someone can confirm or not the following? i received my 2 new cards for n*l ire. i have updated them as advised but have not confirmed this with n*l as you are suppose to. the reason why i have not confirmed them is i have heard that as soon as i confirm that they are updated they are able to stop me receiving channels on my kryptview. any info pls.
Declan, they`re going to stop you watching your kryptview eventually, whether you confirm it or not.

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??
i dont realy want to tell them anything, but my friend rang me last night and he received a text message, an email and a electronic voice mail on his ntl phone advising that he must confirm card update or they would disconnect his connection. he then confirmed his cards and can now only get free to channels on his dodgy box. has this happened to anybody else???

I'd seriously doubt they can cut the N2 stream on you at the flick of a switch, is he using a Kryptview too?
My friend nextdoor had to verify by text to N*L that he'd updated his box... He is also using a kryptview and has every station, so I would be supprised if that has anything to do with the loss of channels.. regards
Have received new N*Hell card in Dublin. It states that after you replace the card and leave for 5/6 hours to update - you must then call N*Hell to confirm the update on their Freephone number.
Are these cards specific to the actual box, as it states the digital box numbers on the letter with the new card attached?
Upon confirmation to them, can they detect the actual box that has been updated???
