Will Nintendo repair a softmodded Wii?

If I send my out of warranty softmodded Wii to Nintendo will they not repair it or give me a refurb? Over the phone a nintendo rep said that they would repair or replace my launch day Wii for $85(w/ shipping). But I worry that once they see the homebrew channel and backup loader on my semi-bricked Wii they will send it back to me or worse. Thoughts?

no.. they don't even care..as long as you pay them the 85.00 but mostly they are going to put 4.0....tell then you want 3.4 so that you can put back the homebrew... ha..ha..ha..ha..

Put a big sticker saying do not load 4.0..
