My Eurovox TX has firmware version TX 23_11_07
I downloaded the updated firmware posted on Eamos library for Eurovox TX dated version 22 12 2008. I flashed via null modem cable and TX STB Loader 1.0.

During process STB loader confirmed Downloading and could see that Eurovox TX was simultaneously receiving the file. STB loader confirmed Writing and then finally Download Successful
The TX then rebooted at the end of flashing.
However when connected back to TV, all is working as normal except that when I enter menu to check system information, the firmware version still displays the old version TX_23_11_07 and not TX_22_12_08.
If anyone has any advice on why the updated version is not displayed or has experienced similar result would be most grateful on your thoughts. Thanks

i think its because it@s a patch but it will work. i done a few tx's and got the same but they autrolled when needed so dont worry all is well

OK Darst. It just seemed strange that it is still showing the older version. Just makes you doubt if firmware has updated.

The boxes will work on Chorus, the TX box is for Chorus MMDS, as Chorus has not been affected by the N3 changeover.

After flashing it with the 221208 firmware, yes- more needs to be done to get it working.
