help needed for skysat setup

Hi experts,
As the starvi*w boxes are down, I try to go for the using the dish and receiver. I have all equipments needed ( dish installed on sky channels, humax receiver, matrix reloaded cam, card & cam writers and some different cards, etc.) but I dont know how to get the codes and use it to open the sky channels. would some one help me step by step how can I set it up? or give me a link to a decent website?
I need you advise.

With the equipment above nothing will be open on Hotbird or astra at 19.2e. Your best best is a 80cm dish and point at thor at 1w. Patch you receiver or cams and open digi tv package. Its the last real package open at the moment.

What do you expect from hotbird?
There are not much channels left over which are cracked.
Polsat changed to nagra3 and TPS switched off viaccess1.

I've only ever used a eurovox quantum when it was first released with cs on hotbird so wasnt 100% sure what he could get on humax. All I knew was that there was feck all he could do on astra2

The only real free stuff are on digi tv on thor available with a patched receiver or programmable cam. There is kabal kiosk on 23.5e but most of thats is german. One good receiver that opens loads and is reasonable is the protek receiver. Works on the same lines as the quantum but the server is free.

thanks for the replys. I also have two other receivers, DEC 3000 (hauppauge) which has got the cam interface and a normal PACE n*l cable receiver which of course accepts the N*L card. I have two dishes toward astra (sky) and hotbird. unfotunately I cant install the bigger dish cuz my landlord will kill me surely.
I think I can do something with these, please dont be mean and help. Im sure you know ;)

What cards do you have?? If there cable cards forget it. Do you own a gamma card at all??

well mate I think that your viewing will be a little restricted on hotbird. None of our kit will open anything. A gamma would have opened nova. Best suggestion is turn your dish to thor if its big enough.

thanks, I dont think the dishes are big enough. those are 60cm both. thanks anyway
