Hi yes uses same loader for both units. Make sure the mains switch is off from the back and only switch on after pressing start on the downloader.

did you use the legacy option ?

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

when you go to scan, it tells you to wait, and then shows a couple of different options for scanning, 1 of them is something like NTL legacy Dublin, scan on that and you should get everything.

I think I would need to be in front of my own one to run through the exact steps to use when scanning. Does it do a TP scan first ?

He must not be in Dublin N*L if he's not getting dublin legacy.. I think after a tp search it lists the local providers in each specific area.. if in Dub N*L he should pick up abou 19 tp and get every channel..regards

how soon is now?

halpinio came across this on another thread it might help you out
When you flash it you should see a menu.

Go to the bottom option

provider on top choose ntl

leave the rest alone

Press green button on remote

Wait till you get next option

Choose legacy channels at the top

Press ok then let it do its work

Then exit out when finished

Let it update & thats it.
