Hi Fergusb just a follow up on last nights question when i flashed that box and couldnt get into the menu the friend of mine says he could acess the menu before it was flashed any ideas could it be wrong firmware

what menu are you trying to access ??

also look in the system info and tell me what the date on the firmware is ???

trying to flash the box and retune it and the firmware date is 11/08

go to menu config clear data factory reset to your provider symbol rate which is 6887 if you are in ireland

then installation >>>> new scan

start 290.000
finish 419.000
symbol rate 6887 ntl

press ok and scan away

make sure the cable is in the rf in the back of the box

there is possibly a later update for that box maybe december you will need to check the eko site for that
