Wii Disc Error

I've softmodded my wii and burnt some backup's (using img Burn at 2.4x) and used Memorex DVD+R. Games work fine, except I have two different backup versions (Both PAL-as is my system) of Star Wars Clone Wars, House Of The Dead, Shaun White Snowboarding and I get a Disc read error, i've burnt at different speeds, tried different DVD's which work for any other game, it's too much of a coincidence for me to continually use faulty disks on these games and no other, burnt about 30 other games and worked fine. has anyone got any suggestions. I'm using Gamma 0.3 Loader on a PAL 3.1.
Appreciate an experts opinion.

Have you tried switching it off and on again?
