Starview 4 setup and no channels showing??

Hi guys,

I recently got a starview 4 USB box and flashed it with the V1.O9.BIN file. The system information shows

Model ID : C500
S/W version 1.09
Boot version : b-11
Date : Jan 11 2009.

I've selected my provider which is C****S and I'm in Limerick but I dont seem to be getting any signal and there is no channels being picked up. I've turned the keycode to ON in the secret menu and ok'd the set default key option, but again nothing.

Any got any idea?? I'm cracking up!! Cheers guys.

try different provider (ch*rus cork) or (n*l)

easy mistake but have you the coax cable going into the cable input at the back of box

I've tried it in Cable in and antenna in to no avail. When I try automatic scan on C****S it only checks 13 channels. On C****S Cork is shows like it is scanning 88. Dunno!!

I have a digivox-t box also which i had to put the new codes in for the other day and its working fine.

not a 100% sure but the starview 4 will work on ntl cable ntl mmds and chorus cable but not on chorus mmds,maybe someone else can confirm that the starview wont work in limerick

DVB-t boxes are for chorus mmds only

Correct, only dvb-t boxes will work on chorus mmds
ie.the box-t digivox-t eurovox-tx
