I've been wanting to mod my wii for a while and the soldering and installing of the chip looks easy enough but theres like a million different chips. I dont know much about this but can anyone recommend any chips to me that are good. I just want to play normal backups no imports nothing like that and I dont need to play online if that even matters.

Is it too much trouble to add a proper title to your thread? it would help you alot more if the title was about your problem and then if people had experience with the same issue then they could help, you are not gonna get many people looking at this thread with that title.

Maybe reading the forum rules would help you.

What modchip do you have that you want to solder to your wii and what model wii do you have?
