Hi Guys,
Im looking for tutorials on flashing the samsung ms25.

I cant seem to see anything in the sticky at the top for these drives, there used to be loads of info in here am I just missing it?

My reasons for asking is that I flashed this xbox ages ago using tutorials in here I started with extreme 3 and a VIA card and the last at the time the FW i used was i used was extreme 3.4/5 and it was fine..

BUT One day I had the 3 flashing lights problem and had to send the console back to MS, they fixed it and from what I can see without opening it I got back a brand new console even the case is new..But I can see i still have the same dvd drive as its slightly older looking that the case..

Before I sent it back to MS I put back in the origional firmware as i had a back up drive and swapped it back in, I Used mtkflash at the time and it has its orig.bin in place and has been like that since we have had it back from MS so Im thinking now the new warrenty is up id flash it again..

So ive came back and it all sems a little different and this new jungle flasher looks great, Im reading the pdf and seems quite straight forward except it doesnt make mention of where to get the Firmware to load up into the jungle flasher? of is it all inbuilt?

Thanks again for any support here Its been a while since I looked in and its all new since I last looked and need to make sure I get the correct software and firmware

Can some one tell me the version number of the lates Jungle flasher I managed to find JungleFlasher.0.1.51.Beta is that the best to use?

LOL ... Im the king of retarded questions.. heehee

I managed the old way with mtkflash done from the command line and I still have my old pioneer 111d /di62c drives and the VIA sata card and an old executor kit I used to power my old sammy so im hoping its going to be straight forward...Says holding baited breath!!

I will read the tutorial a few times but from my mind im starting as if i have a brand new machine with my origin.bin back in the currect drive so I have no unlocking to do.

I also have still got my old xecutor connectivity kit, cant recal the version of the executor kit but it used t power my sammy ..It was no use for sammy drives otherwise but I used to use it to power my sammy from the pc.. can I still do this or will this affect the Jungle software..

It was a little easier to just have the drive up on my desk rather than the pc and xbox and cables..

I think I found the proper FW,

Can someone advise this is correct?

The download i got was called: iXtreme_xbox360_1.51_all_drives

When unzipped it had a folder called: JungleFlasher_Firmware_Pack-Team_Jungle

Inside that folder are around 35 files named like ix151-32 or orig79-4e10 or ix151-samsung

Are these the correct FW downlods i need for this?

Yep. All you need from that folder is whichever one pertains to your drive.

Well looking at the files there is 1 named "ix151-samsung" and its the only one that makes mention of samsung there is nothing named with ms25 or similar so Im guessing that "ix151-samsung" is my FW file i need to load up via Jungle loader and all sammys are under this 1 file in this version?

It's quite a lot simpler than that.
If you load your ORgin.bin into JungleFlasher it will actually look for the correct firmware for you.
After that just follow the instructions to flash the drive.
