I tore a part my blu-ray disc player and I cannot get it to reset so I can put a game in. It's block. I tried a ton of things and still no go. Can I just buy a drive on ebay and put it in? Will it just work or is there something special I need to do. It is out of warranty. Where can I get a drive other than ebay?

i have no working knowledge of fixing ps3's but it would make sence to me that it would work.one thing that you might need to do is make sure the drive came out of the same type of ps3(20gig,40gig,etc,etc...)thats about all the help i can offer.and e-bay would prolly be your best bet or maybe craigslist.
