i have read this forum for an hour and a half and cant find an answer to my problem. i have a starview 3 the box super with the latest firmware on. i am not a newbie to cable boxes. but i have not had this problem. im on telewest on merseyside. channels all come in from 0 to about 50% from 50% to 100% all channels fail. beging to think the box is broke has any1 got a solution.

how many channels do you get in total, if its not picking them all up, goto factory setting and delete all then scan again

the cable goes into the cable input on the box

make sure there is NO SPLITTERS on your cable then scan if you do TW first and you get nothing do it on EXCW still nothing then NTL ok

thanx for replying guys,i get 163 channels every time.as soon as 50% arrives all frequency's fail.i have deleted and done a full factory reset but its the same thing.i have changed software in case i have corroded files but always the same!

i have no splitters its straight in from the brown omnibox on outside into cable input.

where are you based can you tell me

also are you sure you have a live feed ??

try plugging the cable direct to tv if you get channels your feed is live if you dont your cable feed is dead ok

i am in mersyside.i have a live feed as i am getting 163 channels until i get to 50%.i am getting channels when i plug wire direct into tv.i have also tried to put frequencys in manually but if they live above 50% it says no programs found e.g. sky sports 1 frequency is 475000.i have first gen starview no probs same line and dbox no probs same line and eurovox no probs same line.have also scanned in xc&w mode and ntl mode but no joy.thanx

ok if you are getting no channels its either a tuner prob or could be a firmware prob

try a reflash of the most up to date firmware and see does that work
