No your psp is semi bricked because you can still reach the recovery menu.

-------------

To fix your psp do this:
1 Go to recovery mode and toggle usb

2 Download THIS (hellcats recovery flasher) and one of the firmware files on that page at the top

3 Uncompress the file you downloaded take out the RECOVERY folder and place the update file you downloaded in the recovery folder

4 Drop the recovery folder in the /psp/game/ directory

5 Toggle usb off and choose run program at /psp/game/recovery/EBOOT.PBP

------------

You should be able to follow the onscreen instructions from there

OK please explain you can get to the recovery menu right?
If not it seems that pandora is the only way to fix your psp but if you can follow the instructions below.

(On PSP) Go to recovery mode and hit "Toggle USB" at the top

Plug the PSP in and download the program from my first post(The download button appears after like 5 seconds).

Decompress the file from the link and take out only the RECOVERY folder and copy the recovery folder to X\psp\game\ (X = psp drive letter)

(On PSP) Toggle USB again and go to run program at /psp/game/recovery/EBOOT.PBP then follow the onscreen instructions
