Hi Guys,
Our kids had a friend sleep over who took his 360 hard drive with him and unknown to me the kids used his hardd rive to load his saved games or thats what they said..

They have now somehow got a new dashboard on our 360 and its totaly different from the origonal one we had..

I have no idea what they did and neither do they and Im just wondering if this lads hard drive has somehow updated our dashboard or have they set a cutom one ?

I had a look in the settings options ut cant seem to see anything.
Everything still works and there are no problems we just preferred it the way it was..

Comments appreciated.

Thanks again

The kid already had the NXE update and it is stored on the hard drive. Once connected, it made the 360 update the dashboard. Like the other user said, sorry, but there is no going back to the pre-NXE dashboard.

It's nothing but the NXE dashboard that came out I think late Nov.
If the kid's HDD wouldn't have updated it, a new "wave 3" game would have. There's no need to worry. Everyone who has LIVE has NXE.

NXE is awesome. Why would you want that old piece of crap dashboard anyway?

I only got into 360's a short while before NXE was released, but i have to agree on the old blade dashboard being horrific.

old one was worse, but at least you could eject the tray from the dash, unlike the new one. that is just stupid that you cant hit a freaking button and have it eject.
