i am using jungle flasher and i cant get the drive in vendor mode i put the drive in haft way and push device id button but it doesn't work. please help

use iPrep to flash it, or if you dont want to use iPrep use Jungle Flasher, it has a vendor mode command(it does it all for you :D )

When it's half way open, you hit device info. Then it will say to power cycle the driver within 1 second after you hit okay. Are you doing this?

I got a another problem I just did the benq and jungle flasher read the drive but it wont read the Hitachi 59 and i just did two of them last week.All day i try a bunch of stuff to get it read the drive but it wont read it.Any i try the slax but it didnt work.

Send Mode B with Jungle Flasher. Are you using WinAPI or PortIO?

I am use the PortIO I got a sata 6421 it doesnt make sense because i did the same kind of drive last week

You might have better luck with the VIA driver installed and using WinAPI. I know you can flash Samsungs and BenQs with the VIA driver installed. Only time you need to remove the viamraid.sys is when you go to flash a Lite-ON.

Well I don't know what is up with your setup but I can flash Hitachi, BenQ, and Samsung just fine with the viamraid.sys file in the drivers folder. :P

Do folders come up in a window? or is there a setup you run? If folders come up would would have to point it in device manager to the folder on the cd to install it.
