i have bought a replacement but am really interested in finding out what actually is wrong.im a bit of a noob to modding but managed to flash ok and xclamps fix a few machines this one included.
it first went wrong directly after flashing iextreme 1.51 onto the benq vad6038 and came round briefly after i reapplied new thermal paste which had dried out.then it gave me error e74 twice and then e73 with 1021 as the secondary error code.some people say re flowing works which i've done to no avail and others refer to the ethernet port which i have inspected loosely but dont beleive its that as it hasnt been used.
i have tried running without the dvd drive,without the hdd(which is modded) and now i've ran out of idea's.
any pointers are welcome.thanks
