starview 2 - no power to unit

does anyone know where i can bring my starview unit to be repaired - as no power is goin to the unit. ive checked it in diffirent sockets and checked fuse and button on back is on.

also opened it up and no wire is lose - can someone please help me is there anywhere on moore street or somewhere - in dublin city centre

for what it costs to fix it its hardly worth it,cheaper to buy a new one.but given that these boxes wont work very soon that may also be a waste of time,the kryptview box works well(but again who knows if that will continue)good luck mate.

hey thanks - but i believe i need to jtag it and havent a clue or would trust myself - is there any shop or person that does this for you - i dont mind how much and even if it only works for next while i dont mind need it asap

some of the guys on ebay.uk sell the j tags and some provide a cd with instructions on how to do it thats if it actually is a case that you do need to tag it check this seller out http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jtag-Repair-Servic...%3A1|240%3A1318

i believe i do - i know the whole channel issue and its not that.

its no power to unit but when i open it up - i hear clicking coming from it - and someone told me its probably a jtag issue.

i'll check that out thanks

yes clicking usually means jtag,was the box flashed recently with firmware? clone perhaps?
