4.0 No CIOS Fix

Found this somewhere on the Internet. Can anyone confirm that this really works ?

wii 4.0e and HBC already installed:

Download http://www.yafaze.com/wii/files/4.0NoCIOSfix.rar

Put the contents on an empty SD Card.

1.Run CMDVDX34 using HBC (this patches IOS35 to a lower number)
2.Install IOS35.wad using Wad Manager (any version) (if it fails, it's already installed, don't worry continue)
3.Then run Wad Manager (IOS35 Version) and install the CIOS7.wad

Done.

Now you can run the CIOSrev9 update and start enjoying wii again.

I finally found a fix for this problem
Heres the solution:

1. Use this first
http://wiiguide.co.cc/
If during step 8 (install channels) You get an error (2011 or 1035)
use this fix below

2. Only if above fix doesnt work

You may have to use this fix in conjuction with bannerbomb like I did, but it does work.
