I am just trying to think which games is the best graphically. I am thinking games like killzone 2, Assassins creed, cod 4. Is there any other games that have the same if not better graphics standards

MGS 4 has got ace graphics and a few debatable ones which I know most people won't agree with are NFS Carbon and FARCRY 2. But if we are talking about NextGen games and not just PS3 games then the winner is simply Crysis.

Well, to be fair, Crysis has, like... ten different levels of graphical quality. Just sayin'. It being a PC game an' all. :)
Killzone 2 and MGS4 are probably the top two games in the graphics department, but I s'pose some of the other exclusives (like Drake's Fortune and Resistance 2) are extremely well-done as well.
But that's me.

Look up a game called Heavy Rain. Its supposed to be the most graphically powerhoused. Also FF VIII is supposed to use 100% of the PS3's power.

Heavy Rain or ARMA2 would have my votes, though they arent out yet.

Power usage doesn't usually mean graphical or any prowess really, it could just mean that they're not using power effectively so they brute force everything.

Well, seeing as how FF VIII is a PS1 game, I'd be surprised if I stuck it in and suddenly my PS3 blew up out of sheer power usage.
...that said, even XIII is going to be such suck because it's another one of those "screw everything else, let's just make it look flashier than EVAR!!!" titles that Square-Enix seems so intent on shoving at us these days. Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children... slowly but surely, they're ruining Final Fantasy's good name...
Anyway, rant aside, I doubt the game's going to push the PS3's graphical unit, because it's also simultaneously being produced for the 360. And if I remember correctly, the 360 doesn't have the same raw potential that the PS3 does in terms of graphics. (Not that it doesn't produce graphics on par with current PS3 games. Just that it doesn't have the same potential.) Still, though, I s'pose it WOULD be nice to see something like MGS4 ported to the 360, if only to see how they manage to fit 30+GB onto a 9GB disc. Maybe a few 9GB discs. Separate one for each chapter or so. But I digress.

I thought you might say MGS, alot of my firends who have 360's (and would get a ps3 for MGS) will vomit in rage when i say i don't have it lol. I am a ps3 fan but to be honest Gears 2 looks great. i also like the look of fear 2

I dont have many games for my PS3, have GTA4, Vegas2, Force Unleashed and Assasins Creed. Out of those I would have to say that the graphics in Assasins Creed are pretty good, especially when you get on top of a tower and scan the area. It's mainly why I bought the game even though some reviews say that it get boring after a while because it just get repetitive.
