Trying to flash a benq xbox 360

I need a good tutorial for flashing my xbox 360 benq with ixtreme 1.51 firmware. I would prefer if i do not have to open my xbox 360 console
(I know there are already innumberable threads about this but nothing that fits my criteria).

i have mod diff drives, and as far as i know.. you have to open your console in order to hook up the dvd drive.

What he said. But once you have it modded you can buy a blaster360 and install that. Then you will never have to open the 360 again.

and how did none of them fit your criteria when you are asking the same thing that 50% of the modding threads are about? half the people ask if you have to open them up or not.

So, if i get a pro to mod mt 360 for me, how would i install a blaster360... and how much do they cost?

Because alot of the modding threads are; quite old (and out of date), not for my drive, contain tuts that are way to confusing for me or focus on a specific problem.

ye except for the jungle flasher threads and tutorials that were made this year and relate to your drive, and not to specific problems. and if you cant figure out whats going on in these tutorials, then perhaps you shouldnt be flashing your drive by yourself.

i wasn't even computer smart when i first start modding.. just simply took the risk, following the instructions, steps by steps, watching those video on youtube helps. the worse thing that could possible happen is BREAK YOUR DVD DRIVE, but then you can always get a new one off on ebay for 30.

With the exception of not being able to get your key and then brick your drive. Then you would be on ebay getting a new Arcade for 200$.
Looks like we were thinking the exact same thing wabashman. :)

newbies or not.. as long as i can mod all the drives and making some money from this. the chance of messing up with the modding are slim, just follow the instructions and your fine. if you think you got any better advice then give him some tips instead of insulting me.

I have no problem nodding it fir you if you would like. As for 1.6 question, no one really knows. It could be tonight or next year. But the only difference is the 0800 support for all drives.

I have a question guys?
I modded my benq drive with using the 1.53v disk which updated the drive with the 1.51. For anybody that knows or has used the disk It didn't prompt for the serial num (1234567 12345). The flash went through successful and my backups play but don't i need to put that num in somewhere? Also, When i flashed the drive I checked the folder that the original was spose to be dumped to but its not there. I wrote down my key so I should be able to make another original right?

OK....I checked the usb flash and it did save the original bin on the stick. So I do have that but I need to know about the serial num.
