Call up microsoft. That'd about you're only chance. Also might want to let your credit card company and or bank know so they don't go out and buy a million microsoft points or other stuff on your account.

Most probably can't logon as password is changed..i am curious tho as to how someone else was able to change the registered email addy since i figure you'd have to ring ms to do it

they found out what your password was then changed the password.
Since gamertag is linked to a windows live account then if someone hacks that live account and changes the password then it also makes so you cant login to xbix live. so maybe they just hacked your email and dont know you even have a xbox. its too easy to change the email linked to an account as you can do it thru the dash or on xbox.com
In any event your password was probably too simple.

I was playing about a month ago and suddenly i am signed out of live and it said my account hadnsigned in from another location. so i immediatley went onto the site and changed my password. I guess i either beat them to it and changed it quick or it was a false alarm cause i still have my account.

just tell them your account has been stolen. no need to worry about your system having hacked fw or anything like that its completely unrelated totally.

just tell them the story and detail as much as possible. like a timeline of events. they can check their system and track all the info and should be able to tell if you are truthfull. im sure they can see IP address of where the changes were made and sort it all out. the longer you wait the harder it will be.
