cios v10 back to v9

Yesterday morning I updated my 3.4u wii with cios v10 and usbloader 1.4. Before the updating I had cios v9 and usbloader1.0/1.1 with everything running smooth as silk.
Ever since going to v10 I have been having a ton of game freezes. The freeze point appears to be totally random. I can play a game for 20 or 30 minutes before a freeze and the next time I try to play it might freeze after only 3 minutes.
What I have tried so far:
-I tried original games in the disk channel, they freeze too.
-I have tried backups via the backup launcher, freeze.
-I tried games on my usb drive, freeze happens.
-I tried switching out usb drive, freeze happens.
-I tried disconnecting all USB devices, freeze happens.
-I reformatted my sd card and installed all my apps from scratch, freeze happens.
-I tried playing wiiware/vc games and freeze happens.
-I have checked my wii for heat related issues and found non.
-I tried installing cios v10 again, by simply running the install program as I originally did.
As best as I can tell this is not a heating issue as the wii itself never gets warm to the touch. My wii hasn't been moved, bumped, or damaged physically. The only thing between now and 2 days ago is the v10 and usbloader 1.4 install.
I have had both cios v8 and v9 in the past and each time I upgraded it by letting the install program simply overwrite to the new version. I am wondering if v9 will overwrite 10 or if I have to uninstall v10 first.
Is there a way to downgrade or go back to cios v9? If so how would I do that? There is a program called ciosdowngrader out there but that appears to downgrade the entire system menu (ie, 3.4>3.2) which doesn't really help me go from v10 to v9. Any other ideas that might help me out?

just re install rev9 it will overwrite rev10..

I was considering installing the rev 10 and 1.4 usb Uploader myself.
How have you got on with reverting back to cios rev9 ?
Are you back to normal again or are you still crashing?

I just got off work and will be reinstalling 9 in a few minutes.
I will report back in the morning once I have some time to really test it out and make sure all it well, unless it goes bad then I will be back sooner.

You can wait for rev11 it will fix a lot of bugs..

You can wait for rev11 it will fix a lot of bugs..
yeah, seems the jumped the gun too soon on rev 9 and 10. When is the release date for 11 and how do you guys know 11 is in the works?

There seem to be quite a few revisions going on, or at least since I modded my wii this month..
I think Im going to leave be and just be greatfull I can do what I need and only opdate if necessary.. Its just knowing whats nessesary sometimes eh aor you see something new and like the look of it.
I thought that 1.4 loader looked great and with a little effort adding the game covers makes for a cool looking USB loader.. Lets hope they work it out. :-)

I didnt realise that, well I will have to go back and look into it if I already have the ability to do this Ive missed that lol
I also have the child proof loader and its great for the kids no worrys eh..
I will look into the 1.1's ability to load covers and see how I get on.

Hmm, so there is a channel for the SD loader 1.4? I haven't seen one. It says channel embeeded but only works in homebrew. What one has the channel so you don't need to load it through homebrew?

Yup I think so but may hang off for a while now to see how others get on...I just read about it the other day and was considering having a go at adding it till I read this post :-)

Ok so I went back to cios v9 and USBloader 1.1. My daughter played animal crossing for 2 hours with no freezes at all. So I believe my issue is resolved.
I don't know if the error I had was with v10 specifically or some conflict between v10 and something else. Just to make sure it is always best to backup and have a fall back plan in case things go wrong. I had deleted my v9 and was having a rather hard time finding a link for it since everyone is apparently getting on board with v10 now.

At least you got it back again jonsrealm.
Do you have many other homebrew apps or wads installed?
Just wondering if something else you have may be bothering v10 or the 1.4 loader?

there were 2 version10 that was release one was lots of bug(few minutes) and then re issued again..

No you don't need 1.4 if you look on the list it say 1.1. I can even customized the backround, the channel i used was a forwarder so i just need to install the WAD once and then just map the DOL to a particular folder in the apps.

1.4 is just the newest and does SD and usb. But there is still bugs with mics not working until ciosv11 is out

I have HBC, wiigator, wiiradio, dvddumper, homebrew browser, wad manager and usbloader. I have few wiiware/vc games from the shop but that is pretty much it. I am not really into all the other bells and whistles.
I have two small children under 9. I mainly just use tools to copy my retail disks for safety. I buy a game burn a backup and then hide the retail away. I have lost way to many PC games due to little helping hands to risk it on the wii.

Yes I have the mario loader for the kids you gave me.
But I still dont see what you mean about adding the images in USB Loader 1.1 on the list for 1.1 it has 'NO' for the cover art and BG

you have to used another loader.. mario is obsolete..what i have.. A wad forwarder which is map to a APPS folder that has a kid user with image..this is what i have for the kids.
