Hey guys..... I have a friend that owes me 50 bucks and he's going to give me his 700 gig hard drive in return for the money. The hard drive has about 7 - 10 games downloaded onto it.But I had a couple of questions. Since i dont really care for the games only the hard drive i needed to know a few things.

1. Since the hard drive (western digital) is formatted for the wii is there a way for me to transfer the 7 games out of the hard drive and onto a dvd-r using windows xp? or even onto the hard drive of my laptop?

2. If for some reason i decide to keep the games in there, can i download more games onto it using a backup copy of games or does it need to be the original?

3. What do you guys think of usb loader 1.4?

1-Yes you can transfer the games off the HDD and onto your computer using a program called WBFS Manager. Install that onto your computer and you can then take the games off the HDD and burn them using your computer. You can then reformat the HDD by right-clicking on it in My Computer and selecting format...Doing this will delete everything that is on the drive.

2-Yes you can rip backup games onto the HDD using USB Loader 1.4 and you can also transfer .ISO's to the HDD using WFBS Manager.

3-I am currently using the lastest USB Loader by Sorg...It is the same as the regular USB Loader but has been modified a few ways and you can install it as a channel...USB Loader 1.4 you have to use it through the Homebrew Channel.

does the wii have 2 be chipit 4 the usb loder 2 work?
if not wot do u have 2 do 2 play copyed games on the wii

No it does not need a modchip. Go HERE for a guide on what you need to do.
