my friend lost the frimware to his 360 can he get banned from xbox live if he flash it with jungleflasher 1.55 & ixtreme 1.51

What do you mean he lost the firmware? Do you mean the orig.bin from the drive? If yes, does he have the drive key? If he has that, he can create a new orig.bin and flash that to the drive or he can flash iXtreme 1.51. iXtreme might get him banned, yes. If he doesn't have the drive key, he is practically screwed. To flash anything, you need the drive key.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

im not sure i dont think so all i know was he put a game in and it read to play this game put it in a xbox 360 he tried a few games he even called the xbox line they wanted 130 to fix it how would you get that file anyway

You can only lose your drive's firmware if you try to flash the drive and after you erased it lose the dumped firmware. Did he try to flash his drive at all?

no. he jus want to play games and go on xbox live he don't want to play burn games. there is a file in ixtreme card orig59.bin is that the original?

He won't get banned for the firmware, but he can for burnt games. As far as we know, Microsoft cannot detect custom firmware, they can only detect what type of game you have.

that is original hitachi 59 firmware with a generic key, most likely.
that is NOT your friends original bin.

How did your friend lose his firmware? was he trying to flash the 360 and erased it is that what you are saying?
or is that not the case at all and he hasnt lost his firmware but the drive is just not reading disc and you are very confused?

isn't the frimware what tells the xbox console that it's a xbox 360 disc i thing that whats gone because the 360 can't tell it's a 360 disc when he put the 360 disc in it reads (to play this game put it in a xbox 360 to play) it don't say disc read error i was told he needs to flash it then he can play games again

yes BUT firmware does not just disapear or get erased by itself. So i ask again was your friend or anyone trying to modify the console before/when this happened?

Each xbox and drive have a different key with about 32 characters as in
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
So what are the chances of getting the right firmware for it. Not a chance at all unless you have the original firmware backed up or at least the key. If not there's absolutely nothing you can do unless you send it to MS.
EDIT: And if your friend didn't try to flash it (open it etc.) then it's the laser that isn't working properly.
