Hello, been getting disc unreadable errors on new burns lately.
Heard it could be my burner is old, any suggestions on which burner to purchase please?

Could be your burner. Could also be the media you're using. So what kind are you using. Could also be your 360 laser is going out. If it's an older console this could more likely than a newer one.

I'm using verbatims, just cleaned my laser but not sure if it's dying yet. My consoles date on the back says 2007-08-08.

We'll it's not the media or a dirty laser. You could try the pot tweak as this has been proven to work. Other than that I would think it is your burner. How old is it? How much gave you burnt with it?

I've tweaked my benqs pot to 2.81-2.84ish, if it's safe to go lower I'm willing to try any suggestions. My burner is years old, can't remember exactly but if I had to guess 4-ish?? I've burned several dozen-ish the burner is a BenQ DQ60. I burn using imgburn 2.4x, bookmarked dvd+r dl/dvd-rom, layer break 1913760. If anyone has ANY suggestions or advice feel free to mention anything, I'm completely willing to try.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
