i have an x box 360 with the lite on drive and i am looking for info on how to mod it out and where i can go to get the stuff to do it. and also the software for both my computer and x box. can anyone please help me?

Yes, if you search you'll find this answer easy. You need the ck kit and some software. In 2 seconds I found this thread:

ok thanks the info is actually really helpful buyt now i am stuck with the problem of finding a company that is u.s. based so i am not waiting a couple of weeks to recieve the kit. also i am still a little confused as far as what me flashing my lite on drive does? and also when i flash it there is a bit of a speel on dumping the key, what does that mean and is it explained in the tutorial. now as far as updating the drive. i was told that i have to reflash it everytime there is an update. is this true? and also where exactly can i get the software like jungle and the sofware to acutally flash it at? also is it true that inorder to get online i need a stealth patch? and if so where i can iget one or is it software?

you can get a ck3 from modchip,ca they are canadian but you wont find any reliable US companies. i have ordered from modchip.ca and it took one week but they are reliable and will not rip you off like a lot of others places dealing with this stuff.

ALL Of your other questions can be answered by just reading the tutorials that are created for that purpose.
I will tell you yes you do have to reflash when there are updates to the hacked firmware. this has nothing to do with the xbox updates you get over live for the 360.
go to the front page and check out the first thread at the top titled The Ultimate sticky sticky. there are tons of tutorials in there on how to do everything required.
