I'm gonna be up front, I'm a N00B. The only thing I've ever done on my console systems has been playing games, and now that I have a 360 I listen to mp3 while I do such. I've poked around a little on this site and I've seen a few posts that seem to be asking the same question as I am, but I feel as though It needs repeating, I have a friend who, back in the day, had an original xbox that he's modded. It had numerous games saved to the hard drive, no disk needed. Ever. Is there, or is there not a possibility that currently, or in the near future there will be this type of modification the the Xbox 360? I'd just like a good clear answer, I know most of you guys will say to search the site and read, and I have but it seems that either the persons asking the question didn't know what they wanted or didn't know how to express themselves. Now that being said, whats up?

The closest you are going to get to that is the New XBOX Experience (NXE). You can save games to the hard drive, but it will still require the disc in the tray.

Anything is possible, if they could do it with xbox 1 than with enough research tnen it is certainly possible for xbox 360... but i doubt it will be in the near future... i guess 1.6 is all we have to look forward to in respects of modding in the near future
