Hi, can anyone tell me if this guide is the most up-to-date guide for installing a USB loader on my wii?

Try this guide HERE.

This guide is at SD/USB Loader 1.4 and cIOS36_rev10. But the SD/USB Loader is at 1.5 now I am waiting to update to 1.5 until cIOS36_rev11 comes out which should be anyday.

But the steps are really simple. Just install cIOS36_rev10 and then you can use the SD/USB Loader.

question about this do you have too do this everytime too use this program :goto the homebrew channel then go too the folder that is on your sd card then load the folder everytime is that how it is post too do

so ive read in many places that usb loader is region sensitive? I tried a pal game on my ntsc wii and it failed. Is this a common problem? Can anything be done about this?

You have to set the USB loader to force NTSC,not all PAL games can be played in NTSC ony few. There is a list which games are.
