Hi im trying to flash a stock BenQ drive to 1.51 using jungleflasher. I can get the drive into vendor mod but then my computer freezes everytime so i cannot read it.

I have also tried using iprep but when i run it i get a massage saying "Unable to find any devices..." and when i ignore this message and create the boot disk i cannot boot from it.

I have been searching for ages and cant find a solution to my problem. I will really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance

do you have the PCI via 6421 card? if not, get it. if you do, are you using the master channel on the card?

Come talk with us on efnet at #elitemods !!! or just click ME

ALSO, DO NOT SEND ME MESSAGES ON LIVE REGARDING MODDING CONSOLES, OR HOW I PLAYED A CERTAIN GAME EARLY. I WILL NOT RESPOND. I WILL INSTEAD DELETE YOUR MESSAGE, AND BLOCK ALL COMMUNICATION FROM YOU. JUST SEND ME A PM ON HERE.

Yea i am using both of them. I have now managed to flash the drive by following a different guide. The guide i was using said to click the device id button and that is where my computer froze. I found a different tutorial which didnt use this step and it worked perfectly. Thanks for your help though

I hope you backed up the bin files. I am pretty sure that's the point of clicking the info button.

actually device id is used more for getting drives that are already flashed into vendor mode. once you read it JF should have asked you to save your original firmware.

I take you have done the mod as you have not replied back, if not.. I had the same problem a few days ago, When you get the message up to say 0c73 was done, "if you want to resend then click yes, power down drive then back on after 1 second" do as it says ensure that you click yes then turn Xbox off and back on and it will read OK and go to vendor mode.
