Apologies if this has already been posted, a basic search returned nothing for this particular issue.
Right. So around the time of the games release, I burnt a copy of ssbb. It worked fine. I played it much.
At some point in time it was lost, and I burnt a new copy recently. This time, the moment the disc loaded, it crashed. On the big channel menu screen, the message said the system was corrupted. If the disc was recognised while in the disc channel, it would crash with a different message I am unable to recall.
Now I've reburnt it again, and it always just gets a general error message. I've updated, redone config and everything, but nothings working. I have another disc, but I do not want to reburn without knowing the problem. The same disc was used for all three. A verbatim thing, I think. Dvd+r.
Hi,
I had exactly the same error message on a wii that I tried to use a cheap DVD with.
I was chancing my luck and used cheap media to burn the rip to and the error messege you got is what mine said. I was worried when i saw this as it suggested the game i tried to load had just bricked my wii but on reeboot and a different disc with the same game all was well.
I also found that If i used the cheap dvd to rip the game to a USB drive it worked OK..
Its verbatim -r you should be using and perhaps if you have used + this will be your problem.
