Anyone use tversity? It streams fine to the opera browser but the quality is horrible. The steaming to my xbox is perfect and clear but I can't figure out why the wii quality sucks. Do I need to tweak some settings for the wii?

Why would you want to use tversity with the Wii if you can use it with your Xbox 360?

You have to stream tversity through the Opera Browser and have the navigation bar at the bottom always there.

I streamed to my Wii before I got my Xbox 360 and had quality issues all the time. Since I have the 360 I started streaming it with that and have had no quality issues plus no bar at the bottom of the screen to deal with.

I think the biggest difference between using the Xbox 360 and the Wii is the Xbox 360 (if you have the Xvid codec installed) doesn't need the video transcoded by tversity before sending it to the 360. When streaming to the Wii tversity has to transcode the video before sending it.

Because it's in a different room than the xbox. I was hoping I had some options. For the wii you can set that bar to "auto hide", which is what I did. No bars on the screen. Too bad, rewind, and skip options are horrible.

Well as I said it is probably due to tversity transcoding the video before sending it to the Wii.

Okay, guess I'm screwed until someone or if someone ever writes to code to fix it. Thanks.

you could try using geexbox or X-oom which is far better than Tversity. Tried Tversity few months and yes quality is lagging (decoding issue).

or try this mplayer CE new version just came out today.
