DDigital Box Firmware Update Problem

I'm having problems with new ddigital upgrade (03/03/2008 software version v2.2 harware v1.1.1)... flashed the new firmware and wont unscramble now! Does anyone have or know where i can find the old version.. 2007.. so i can start again from scratch? had it b4 with emu enable/disable (on) , all help most appreciated... cheers!

d digital and envision boxes are clones of dreambox500c,i have used the same software on these boxes for friends and had no trouble,download dreamup(thats the loader)and then download the latest suitable dm500c firmware)all available here on this forum.good luck

on the old firmware make sure the emu is enabled first before putting the new firmware on the box that is what happened to you

the newer firmware does not allow you to turn it on once it is off so flash back to the older firmware turn on the emu then reflash with the uptodate firmware and it should work no problem

Hello again! i did have the EMU switched to enable but for some reason it still wont work. I will try the old firmware again first then retry new one, failing that i'll try the dreambox move if i can find the firmware... cheers folks!

Still no joy guys... Tried re installing old firmware (enabelling EMU) then installing new one to no joy. Lots of head scratching and still looking for the new firmware from apr. 2009 as cant find so far. Also tried the dreambox d500 but still a non starter... all help appreciated.. south west scotland area (ayrshire).

it should be there all right as before make sure your emu in enabled before moving up or you will still be stuck

ok guys... re installed the "new" dec.2008 firmware today, box seems to take it but can still enable/disable for some reason. System info still says 03/03/2008 d_digital v2.2 hardware v1.1.1 and no extra channels.. any ideas as i have an out and at a loss!! Doh! feel like im going round in circles and missing something stupid.
