Flashed xbox, ripped game, patched, burnt w/ verbatim, yet xbox didn't recognize disk. Nothing happens when I insert the disk... no error message it just tries to several times to start up but then just quits.
make sure you have the latest f/w for your nec. i have an nec 3520 and updated with liggy and dee's f/w and it's been burning fine for the past 3 years.
i have a NEC 3500 and it works great for ripping wxripper and burning. however when i first got the drive new it did not recognize any dvd at all but firmware update fixed that so not sure what your problem could be.
hitachi.. most likely needs a pot calibration. every hitachi I have flashed has either needed a pot calibration to read copies at all or at least well.
