I have been burning dvd moves for sometime and now all of a sudden some of the dont play and if i load the ones that dont play in dvdshrink i get a crc error. I have been using dvdfab to rip them to my hard drive and dvdshrink and nero to burn them and dvd shrink says it was successful but so movies dont play.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

New Plextors not worht the money, rebadged pioneers with NEC chipsets.
Last real plextor was the 716

Good burners are Pioneers, Liteons and Lg IMO

							Those aren't sony disks.. they are fakes.. 60 00 10 20 30 40 50 00 - 00 00 21 00 00 00 00 00 `...0@P...!..... isn't a sony media specific code according to my lists. It usually lives on poor overprints/counterfeits out of korea or india.

Everything completes as it should.. or appears to.... then again.. I don't like those drives.

Ok I took ur advice and bought a new Pioneer DVR-116D. And I updated the firmware to 1.09 and installed nero 8 Startsmart essentials and the newest update for nero 8. I cant seem to find the nero log file for nero 8 and when I burn movies it says burn succesful but when played in a dvd player it takes several mintues to load and some players would play them at all. But when in my computer they play fine. Is it my media or maybe nero ver 8?

dvd shrink does not work successfully with nero 8 and above.
shrink is ok with nero7 and below.

best is to use shrink and burn with Imgburn (free)

							Try with some good media.
Sometimes a disc may not rip correctly. Useless cells at the beginning of the movie can prevent some players from playing. Those cells can be removed with PgcEdit or you can re-author the files with DVD Shrink and remove a few frames from the beginning of the movie.
