Hi guys, sorry if this question has been asked already , i did a search but could'nt quite get the answer i was looking for.
I ran abgx 1.0.1 on a supposed wave 3 game and got the message <2nd wave - exception to authoring rule>..
Then i read that i had to use the "Video_0E58FB9D.iso" in the stealthfiles folder for wave 3 games...so i did this and got the same message out..does this mean the game is okay to go or should i acquire another copy and do it with the iso already in the stealthfiles folder first time round?
Anyone have any idea on this? pm me if necessary, or can i pm someone about the problem directly..(or is it okay to discusss games and iso's and such here? i was'nt sure hence not posting the game name and such, please let me know if i'm allowed to post that sort of info?)
When abgx360 version 1.0.0 came out to deal with the wave 3 games, they used a date based authoring rule, so they assumed all games after a certain date were wave 3. This wasn't the case though as some were still wave 2, so they then brought out version 1.0.1 which has the ability to be updated to deal with games that are exceptions to this rule. If it says that the game is an exception to the authoring rule, as in your case, then it means it's not a wave 3 game and doesn't need to be patched with the wave 3 video file, so as long as the stealth checks out and it verifies, you're fine.
Which game was it? There are some games where the iso was modified to run on iXtreme 1.5 and below (anything before 1.51). They check out as stealth but will very likely get you banned.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
The game was Afro samurai, which i have since learned is a wave 2 game, so its fine :)
Thanks for your concern though, i can see i'm gonna be well looked after in this forum, its nice to see a community where members really care about one another!
