hey guys

i recently traveled down to my mates and took my hard drive with me and when i plugged it into his xbox my gamertag was not recognised, i have tried to retrieve it however it says that there is not enough space or drive cannot be found. when checking though all the demos music etc are there and playable i just cannot get my gamertag up. there is 9.2 gb space still on the drive so space not an issue.

any oen any ideas?

did you delete the profile before trying to recover? I had a simial problem and had to delete profile before it would recover properly

no never deleted it it just wont recognise the profile anywhere

right I am telling you I HAD to delete it before it would recover. you can delete the profile and not your saves/demos it will ask when you try to delete.
