Xclamp fix but, still crashes

Hi,
I have just done the xclamp fix a couple of days ago all seemed to work well, consul ran fine but, today after about 5 minutes it starts to pixelate and freeze. t doesn't matter if its a game, movie or music.

any ideas if this is fixable

did you clean all the old thermal paste of completely? its important to do so that the chips shine and then reapply new paste. also make sure the heatsinks are not on backwards. make sure the fans are still working also.
sometimes making the bolts/screws used in the fix tighter or looser helps. too tight can break the chip though so be carefull.

cleaned all old stuff off, both chip were like a mirror.... Might try and losen screws

Kind of late but yeah, loosen screws up, and you should get the overheating code. Let it overheat.

When it overheats it should cut the power itself, when it does, turn it off and back on, while its on start tightening the screws up until they are snug. Cut the system off and back on again.

Tighten the screws down a little more if you still get the overheating error, loosen a bit if three red lights. Once you get the green LEDs back, try and tighten the screws by hand, just until you feel them not want to turn easily. Should do the trick, has worked for me on every system I've done.
