SATA to usb Adapter and Reflashing

BenQ VAD6083 drive i think. shortly after they came out. Flashed ixtreme 4.1 with a xeno top gear. currently only have a sata to usb adapter. is it possible for me to reflash my drive with the newer 1.51 firmware in any way using the adapter? Jungle flasher maybe or 360 Modification Disc v1.53?
I see the flashing tools have gotten much nicer n more automated, but I am unsure how compatible they are with the adapter. If anyone knows or has tried it, pass it on. Thanks

I would also need to use the onboard power supply or make some sort of plug from the power supply that came with the SATA to usb adapter. The end is a standard ide hard drive plug.
Does anyone know it the 360 DVD drive uses standard voltage?

That will not work as far as I know. The Xbox 360s drive uses a totally different power connector than the molex power connecter. Also you can not flash by using a USB to Sata Cable, you need to buy a Sata card and a CK3 or similar to flash your drive.

You don't need a CK3 if you use the Xbox as power source.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
